Description

It had been a while ago Indy had set first foot on the Estate's grounds. She had been one of the new Faime additions that had been bought to well... mainly grow. When she was brought in in the big, black trailer, she had just been a little tiny filly, but full of character already. She had been kicking and screaming, letting everyone here that now that the black monster had finally stopped moving, they better get her ass out of there. And when they did, she didn't stopped her parade - everyone had to know she had arrived and she was there to stay.
Slowly the little filly had grown into a young confident mare. Still little and still with all the character she had arrived with. She was growing thicker, just as her fur grew with the arrival of winter. She was a little ball of muddled fur. She was adorable, but that look of hers was misleading. She was stubborn as a goat and stronger than she looked and especially a lot faster than you would assume. At the point everything wouldn't go her way, she would just use her voice, than would throw her weight in and when that doesn't work, she just throw her speed in, because literally no other living being at the estate could keep up with her fine legs. And now, just today, she had reached the age of one year and six months old, more than willing to let everyone know she was more than just that age.
''Ho, ho,'' Lexi said while she tried to keep the little feisty mare next to her, instead of bursting up speed in front of her, kicking all snow up against her legs. And just as she said that, she could hear Nadja chuckle next to her. ''It may be already snowing, but is not Christmas yet,'' Nadja joked while she poked her sideways with her elbow. ''Not funny,'' Lexi tried a bit frustrated, but she started laughing herself while she poked Indy on her turn. ''I don't understand why she tries to speed things up every single time. She knows damn well where we're going and what she's about to do, she doesn't have to speed it up because she feels like it,'' Lexi complained while she felt the strength in her arm lower. For Indy's size the mare was so damn strong. Nadja again chuckled, happy that she wasn't the one that had to bring the mare to the meadow, she just accompanied Lexi doing so. ''Maybe she thinks about it the same way, only thing that's different is that she is questioning why you're always so damn slow.'' Nadja couldn't help but smiling from ear to ear and lashed out just in time because she already saw the lash out from Lexi coming. ''Yes, yes, I know, horrible,'' she rolled her eyes, still smiling, while she turned around, walking backwards over het path, keeping straight on the fence on her right so she wouldn't bump into something. She knew the grounds just as good as the inside of her pockets, so she could almost follow the paths with her eyes closed. Lexi shook her head. ''You could say that,'' still more concentrated on the mare than on Nadja. She was happy when they arrived the fence, so she could open gate and throw Indy loose in the large meadow. The small mare immediately took off at high speed, kicking her hooves where she could, not even a second afraid of dashing with her nose in the snow because she loosed grip on the slippery wet snow. Lexi and Nadja took place at the fence, leading on the wood to watch Indy's movements before they got on with their choirs.
''God that mare's going to be a problem. And I was afraid of Panda, but I'm afraid she's even worse than her.'' Lexi sighed while she leaned with her weight on the fence, which was quite cold now that the first snow had fallen and covered their lands in a white, cold but beautiful substance. Nadja giggled. ''I think it all will fall into place. I think she loves working just as much as Panda does and when the times comes, you have found you way with her just like you always do.'' Nadja looked aside smiling, giving Lexi just the confidence she needed. Lexi looked and smiled back at her. Nadja was just what she needed when she fell everything was slipping through her fingers. And just when she thought of that, she thought of something different relating the red headed girl next to her. ''And now that I think off it, could you keep Christmas Eve free, just for me?'' Lexi put on her nicest smiles and her big eyes everyone was so jealous of. Nadja looked back at her, a bit suspicious. ''Well of course. Could I ask why?'' Nadja tried. ''No, I'm afraid you can't.'' Lexi just winked at her and Nadja couldn't help but smiling, knowing her dearest friend had something up in her mind she could only get to know off to play along. And she would, but just not today. As Lexi straightened her back and turned around to get on with her choirs, so did Nadja. ''Come on, pleeease?'' She followed her, asking playfully like a little child. This was going to be a long day.
